Hull Number 1 of the Northwind 50 series, christened "Eventide", is built for an experienced cruising couple who enjoy exploring the waters of the Pacific Northwest, Western Canada and Alaska. This seaworthy and practical vessel is the culmination of their years of extensive ocean passages and living aboard different yachts. The Northwind 50 was designed with constant attention to the features that make a cruising vessel safe, dependable, comfortable and efficient.

The builder is Northwind Marine, whose team has been producing commercial vessels and both power and sailing yachts for over 20 years. Many of the vessels they have built have received substantial recognition, including the highest yacht rating ever given by the American Bureau of Shipping Society, and the awards of "Outstanding Sailboat of the Year" by both Showboats Magazine and the SuperYacht Society. The handsome interior of "Navigator" is being built by the exceptional craftsmen at the respected Vic Franck Boat Co.
